Alain Ucari is Head of Pictet Wealth Management in Monaco. He is also Secretary of the Monaco Association for Financial Activities (AMAF).
A private-banking specialist with almost three decades of experience in the sector, Alain spearheaded the launch of Pictet Wealth Management's operations in Monaco in 2019, growing a small team of four specialists into an office of 19 within the space of a year.
Alain brings his considerable knowledge of Monaco society to Pictet Wealth Management, a division of Pictet Group, offering wealth management, investment and banking advice to high-net-worth individuals. Pictet believes in building long-term relationships to better advise clients on investment solutions and help them grow and manage their assets.
Before joining Pictet Alain worked at Julius Baer in Monaco, initially as CEO before being promoted to Chairman of the Board of Directors. Prior to Julius Baer, Alain spent 20 years at Credit Suisse, over 12 of them as CEO of its Monaco branch.
As Secretary of AMAF, Alain assists the Association in its mission to represent and promote the development of Monaco’s banking sector, and serves as the Chairman of its anti-money laundering and professional certification committees.
In 2019 Alain was promoted to Officer of the Order of Saint-Charles, an honour founded in 1858 and bestowed by Monaco’s sovereign, rewarding service to the State or Prince.
Alain graduated from HEC Lausanne, the business school affiliated to the University of Lausanne, and completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management programme.

Founded in Switzerland in 1856, Credit Suisse is an international investment bank and financial services company. Alain held several senior management positions during his 20 years with the bank, with postings in Lebanon, the UAE and Switzerland. He served as CEO of Credit Suisse Monaco for 12 years, from 2002-2014.
Julius Bär Group
Julius Baer is a private-banking firm founded in Switzerland in 1890. Alain joined the prestigious bank in 2015 as CEO, Monaco. In 2016 he was promoted to Chair of the Board of Directors in Monaco.
