Alex Fitzgibbons is the Chairman and major Shareholder of Fait Accompli (London) Ltd, one of the world's leading event organisers.
Named as an international event planner extraordinaire by Vogue magazine, Alex has a wealth of knowledge and expertise admired by the Royal Family and international public figures. With over 20 years’ experience working in the events industry at Fait Accompli, Alex is one of the most highly regarded event planners in the world. Alex and his team consider client recommendation and word of mouth their best marketing strategy and see no demand for social media and other marketing platforms, seemingly ‘if you know, you know’. They pride themselves on their discretion and ability to create their client’s visions, always exceeding expectations, however big or small. Fait Accompli ensures every little detail is accounted for and executed to the highest standard.
Furthermore, Alex is Director of Bellamy’s, a renowned French restaurant based in Mayfair, Director and Shareholder of Morjas, a high-quality shoe brand and a Member of the board at Camshaft S.à.r.l. which is an investment company based in Luxembourg. Alex also serves as Chairman of Richard Dawes Fine Wine and their direct-to-consumer arm, MARLO. He has long supported and currently serves as Chairman of Child Bereavement UK, a charity that helps the families of children that are either facing bereavement or have died, as well as educating professionals.
In 2020, Alex completed running, cycling, swimming and kayaking from London to Stockholm to raise over £1m for the charity, which is very close to his heart.
Alex is a graduate of Brown University with a BA degree in History and Politics. In addition, he is an instrument-rated, turbine, fixed-wing and helicopter pilot.
