Biography
Barry Townsley CBE is Chairman and Founding Partner of Hobart Capital Markets LLP.
Barry is a Co-Vice Chairman of the Serpentine Gallery and a Director of Caprice Holdings Ltd. He is President of the Trustees of Weizmann UK and sits on the Executive Committee of The Weizmann Institute of Science, one of the top multi-disciplinary research institutions in the world.
He is also Chairman of the Proton Beam Therapy and Cancer Development Board at London’s University College Hospital, and a Patron (formerly a Trustee) of the Royal Trinity Hospice. Barry is also a Member of the’ Growth Board of Centrepoint, a charity that supports homeless young people with accommodation and associated support services.
