Biography

The Principal Post is an online publishing company offering uniquely engaging personal narratives, self-authored, self-published, independently and objectively vetted and endorsed. Nascentivity Funds Group is a private venture capital firm investing in properties and businesses within U. S. Opportunity Zones.

Bruce began his career at Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant. Over two decades, Bruce went on to serve as a branch manager, regional manager, National Sales Manager and finally as Sr. Director of the International Sales and Products Group. Following that, Bruce joined Prudential Financial as a Senior Vice President, responsible for the securities and financial planning businesses in the northeastern U.S.

After a quarter century in wealth management, Bruce left to pursue his dream of teaching at university. Rather than teaching finance, however, he returned to school to study philosophy, and later became a member of the philosophy departments of Boston College, Suffolk University and Northeastern University where he taught undergraduate and graduate courses in ancient philosophy, political philosophy, ethics and leadership.

Bruce has served on the boards of numerous arts organizations including Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston and Miami’s Nu-Deco Ensemble. He has also served on the advisory boards of several early-stage for-profit businesses including Fabalish and Digital Guardian.

Bruce is a member of the Harvard Club of New York, the American Philosophical Association, Social Enterprise Institute, Mensa International and Faena Rose. He holds degrees from Northeastern University, Suffolk University, Boston University and Harvard Graduate School of Education.
