Daniel Jacoel is Founder & Principal of Oakview (Single Family Office). Prior to establishing Oakview, Daniel worked at Standard Chartered in Beijing, was Founder and Head of Kaupthing, Singer and Friedlander’s China Team in London, was a co-founding Partner of Akur Partners, and the sole Founder of Sino International Capital Group.
He sits on the Board of several charities that are important to him. Current and former roles include the Community Security Trust (CST) Real Estate & Finance Committee and The Yehudi Menuhin School's International Advisory Board.
Daniel graduated with a BA (Hons) in Modern & Classical Chinese from SOAS, University of London.

Standard Chartered Bank is a well-regarded banking and financial services corporation headquartered in London, with operations across Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Oakview (SFO)
Oakview invests in profitable SMEs (typically £2.5m-5m EBITDA) that generate cash and have little or no debt. It is sector agnostic but only invests in companies domiciled in developed markets. Target companies are often founder-led or family-owned. As a long-term investor, the firm provides high-level strategic advice and leverages its network, but does not interfere with daily operations.
Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander
Founded in 1907, Kaupthing, Singer & Friedlander was a financial services provider based in the City of London. The bank offered its clientele investment management, asset finance, capital markets and private banking services.
Akur Capital
Akur Capital, based in London, is a capital markets advisory firm. Their services include IPO assistance, M&A, strategic advice, and asset management. Daniel was an Equity Partner at the firm and Head of China Business Services.
