Biography
Edward Rom is a forward-thinking entrepreneur and the Founder, Managing Director and CEO of EFR Travel, a renowned corporate travel business that has based its success on delivering exceptional customer service.
Edward’s passion for travel was shaped from an early age. After completing his education in business administration, he set off on a journey to establish his own travel enterprise. He has travelled widely and has personally experienced many different cultures around the world. Identifying the need for a travel offering that not only delivered personalised itineraries, Edward embraced technology to enhance the travel experience.
He launched EFR Travel with a clear mission: to provide clients with unforgettable travel experiences that cater to their unique interests. Under his guidance, EFR Travel gained a reputation for its attention to detail, seamless planning, and commitment to exceeding customer expectations. EFR Travel has become a one-stop business offering corporate leisure travel, golfing holidays, boat cruises, and private jet travel, as well as the option of a concierge service.
With Edward’s visionary direction, EFR has grown a loyal clientele and also received many accolades. Recently, EFR's leisure brands, Luxury Worldwide Collection and Elegant Golf Resorts, were nominated for the 2023 British Travel Awards. A desire for excellent customer service is apparent in everything that EFR does and drives the success of the travel business, making it a prominent name in the industry.
Known for his philanthropic interests, Edward believes in giving back to his community and is patron of Rays of Sunshine and Chai Cancer Care. Rays of Sunshine provides support to children and their families affected by serious illness and aspires to fulfil ‘grant a wish’ requests. Chai is a UK-wide charity supporting those affected by cancer within the Jewish Community at large. Edward is an avid golfer and former Captain of Wentworth Golf Club.
