Malcolm Borwick is a world-renowned and highly respected polo player who specialises as an Equestrian Real Estate Consultant at MB-EQ Consulting Ltd. The British sportsman, who holds more than 50 England caps, has held a 6-goal handicap for 15 years and continues to play professionally around the world. Malcolm was headed for a career in the banking industry before he was selected to play polo for England. Career highlights include two World Championship medals, and three Coronation Cup wins.

Malcolm serves as Head of Equestrian Development at Sport54, a Saudi-based firm that provides sports business consultancy services. He also sits on the boards of La Martina Polo World (the consultancy and development arm) and Bristol Bay Capital, a real estate investment and development firm active at sites in Southern Spain and Portugal.

Representing several brands closely associated with polo, Malcolm features in many advertising campaigns as brand ambassador: Royal Salute, Piaget, Horse Scout, Rapport and La Martina. He is Chairman of the World Polo Tour, an independent body that determines the handicaps of players globally.

As ambassador for several charitable organisations, Malcolm has used his platform to raise awareness and support for important causes like Prince William’s Royal Foundation and Prince Harry’s Sentebale Charity.

In recent years, efforts have been made to make the Sport of Kings more accessible to those who aspire to play polo. Malcolm has promoted events like Polo in the Park.

He graduated from Durham University with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology and Spanish.
