Biography
Michael is a Managing Director at KingsRock Advisors LLC, a global investment banking firm, focusing on private capital markets, financial sponsors, corporate finance advisory, private equity, private credit, and alternative investment opportunities across Europe, Asia and North America.
Michael has more than 25 years of senior investment banking experience, with expertise spanning global private equity, leveraged finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining KingsRock, Michael founded Fox Point Partners LLP in 2009, a global merchant bank specialising in proprietary direct investment opportunities and strategic consulting. During this period, he also held partnership and board positions with several firms, including Vanbridge LLC (a former Stone Point Capital portfolio company, now part of EPIC Insurance), Global Family Partners Limited, Panmure Gordon, where he served as Head of Private Capital Solutions, and Vemi Capital.
Earlier in his career, Michael held senior executive positions at leading financial institutions. These included Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc., where he served as Managing Director, Global Head of the Telecoms, Media & Technology Industry Practice Group and was an executive member of the firm's Private Equity/M&A Practice (PEMA). He was also Managing Director, Global Head of Telecoms, Media & Technology Investment & Corporate Banking at ING Barings Limited in London, where he served on both the European Management Committee and Investment Committee. Before that, he spent more than a decade with Bear Stearns in New York and London, concluding his tenure as Senior Managing Director and Head of the European Telecoms, Technology & Media Group.
Michael received a BA from Boston College and is an American national from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has been regulated by both the US Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
