Biography
Peter Mayer is Founder and CEO of RockWood Advisory Partners, a financial services boutique consulting alternative asset management companies on capital raising, business development, executive recruitment and strategic initiatives.
Peter is also Partner, Head of Europe of Jensen Partners, a global executive recruitment firm specialising in the alternatives industry.
In addition, Peter serves as Senior Advisor to Troviq, a fintech solutions company providing retail investors access to private markets funds. He is also an Advisory Board Member of Lodbrok Capital, a European credit opportunities fund manager and a Fund Director of MGG Investment Group, a US specialty finance lender.
He is Senior Advisor at KingsRock Advisors, a global network of senior investment bankers offering strategic advisory, financing and investment solutions.
Before January 2020, Peter was a Partner at PJT Park Hill, which was previously part of Blackstone. In this role, he was responsible for leading the European hedge fund and credit businesses.
Prior to joining Park Hill in 2006, Peter worked as a Director in the Private Funds Group at Credit Suisse in London. Before that, he led the Emerging European Equity Sales team in London. Peter initially joined Credit Suisse in Prague in 1995.
Peter's career in banking began in 1982 at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in New York. He graduated from Boston College in 1980 with a BA in Economics, cum laude.
