Biography

Rotem Farkash is an Israeli technology entrepreneur with expertise in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and software engineering. Throughout his career, he has founded and led technology companies focused on digital security, cyber intelligence and AI technologies.

In 2016, Rotem co-founded Inpedio, a cybersecurity company where he also served as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Research and Development. In these roles, he oversaw the development of security software designed to protect mobile devices and business systems from malware, ransomware and other cyber threats. During his tenure, the company secured investment from organisations including Israel Aerospace Industries and ELTA Systems.

Earlier in his career, Rotem served as a Research and Development Officer in Unit 8200, the Israel Defense Forces' elite signals intelligence and cyber unit, where he received awards for innovation and operational contribution. He went on to work as a cybersecurity consultant and security architect, advising organisations in the banking and telecommunications sectors, before co-founding Cycept, a company focused on cyber intelligence and security technologies.

Rotem is currently developing a new venture. He also advises early-stage companies specialising in artificial intelligence and algorithmic trading. Alongside his work in technology, Rotem devotes time and resources to supporting humanitarian, children's and health charities in Israel.
