Biography
Dr. Vladimir Stolyarenko is a seasoned expert in finance, corporate restructuring and crisis management, with over three decades of experience across various industries, including financial services, energy, and media. Previously, he served, between 1998 and 2012, as President and Chairman of the Executive Board and, between 2012 and 2014, as Non-Executive Chairman of the Supervisory Board, of Evrofinance Mosnarbank, a majority privately-owned financial institution.
Earlier, he worked as Head of the St. Petersburg Regional Branch and then in Moscow as the Senior Vice President of Bank Imperial, a privately held financial institution based in Moscow.
Vladimir has served on several boards of major public and non-profit organisations, showcasing his leadership and strategic vision in governance and financial oversight.
In academia, he was both an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, and a Senior Researcher at the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, where he focused on finance, law, and international economic systems.
